Since my first visit to your magnificent country, in 1998, I remained a great fan of its natural beauty, its wilderness areas and the relaxed yet hospitable lifestyle experienced in towns and villages around Namibia as much as in the bush. Needless to say that I returned many times, whenever I felt the need to retreat to a sanctuary. Those marvellous hours spent watching game in Etosha and dolphins at the coast, soaking up the mystic atmosphere in the remote Erongo Mountains, marvelling at Sossusvlei from the summit of a sand dune, witnessing rain fall over the Fish River Canyon at sunset, and relaxing on the terrace of a friend's home overlooking Windhoek at New Year's eve will never be forgotten - no doubt I will keep visiting as often as possible.
